Action! Whether its on the field or the sidelines, the Valkyrie want people to join the team to capture it all.
Join the Valkyrie Sidelines: We’re Looking for a Volunteer Content Creator & Media Specialist!
The East Tennessee Valkyrie are preparing for another hard-hitting, action-packed season of women’s tackle football, and we need someone (or a few someones) behind the lens to capture every big hit, touchdown, and sideline moment.
We are currently seeking a passionate Volunteer Videographer / Photographer / Content Creator to join our team for the upcoming season. If you have a passion for sports media, building a visual brand, and capturing real, raw athletic talent, this is your chance to get right in the middle of the action.
What You’ll Do
As a member of the Valkyrie media crew, you’ll help bring our team's story to life across our website and social channels. Key responsibilities include:
Game Day Coverage: Capture high-resolution action shots and dynamic video clips during home (and select away) games.
Practice & Behind-the-Scenes Access: Highlight player profiles, team workouts, culture, and preparations throughout the season.
Short-Form Content Creation: Create engaging reels, shorts, and highlights for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
Media Archiving: Organize game footage and photos for team use, press releases, and marketing campaigns.
Who We’re Looking For
Anyone with a strong eye for sports photography, video production, or social media storytelling (students, hobbyists, or seasoned pros looking to expand their portfolio are all welcome!).
Reliable individuals with their own camera/video gear and basic editing setup.
Someone with a high-energy attitude who is excited to support full-contact women's athletics
in East Tennessee.
What’s in It for You?
Unmatched Sideline Access: Get field-level media access to every home game.
Portfolio & Resume Building: Gain real-world sports media experience, publish content to an established audience, and get full credit for your work.
Team Merch & Gear: Show off your Valkyrie pride with official team apparel.
Community & Impact: Become a key part of empowering women in sports and growing women's tackle football in our region.
